Causes switching on the CEL?
There are many aspects that turn on the CEL. One aspect is the catalytic problem.
And our CEL eliminator is a kind of small catalyst in front of the O2 sensor.
So if real catalyst is defective, the CEL eliminator can help you reduce the toxic.
However, sometimes the CEL alarm is caused by a problem with the O2 sensor. For example, the O2 sensor is too sensitive,
The CEL always stays on when charging the eliminator. And it will cause more and more code errors!
So our CEL eliminator (someone calls it mini cat) cannot solve all problems CEL alarm.
Only one of the P0420 code faulty catalysts (most common) can be solved.
